| Tell the HHS What You ThinkPlease act now to stop the US Department of Health and Human Services from finalizing a proposed regulation that would allow healthcare providers increased opportunities to refuse to provide abortion and other reproductive health services to women. The regulation disregards the needs of patients. A health provider's objection to abortion must never result in a woman being denied a service she wants, needs, and is legally and morally entitled to. Tell the HHS what you think about this regulation, and do it now! We only have until September 25 to submit comments on this topic. | | | | |
SYRFs Up! Just like legwarmers, jellies, and the pony tail, the SYRF Regional Training Institute (RTI) is back! If you attended a training last year or if you're applying for the first time, make sure to complete an application soon--before all our spots fill up! Because this is the second year of the Institute, we will be offering special programming for RTI "alumni," too! We'll begin in San Francisco then make our way to DC and then Austin. In addition to planning for our second season of Regional Trainings, we are also working hard to tell the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) what pro-choice religious Americans think of the new proposed regulations.
