Atlanta Institute: Only 4 Days Left To Apply!

There is still time to apply to the Atlanta, GA, SYRF Regional Training Institute. If you are a pro-choice young adult, complete an application before Friday, November 2 when registration closes. SYRF Regional Trainings are free to accepted participants.

SYRFs Up!

The Washington, DC training was a big hit! SYRF activists from all over the country (Maryland to Minnesota, Mississippi to Texas) gathered in Washington, DC for 2 very busy days of lobby visits, organizing training, and more! Check out some of the presentations from the training on our website.

I left with a renewed energy to continue empowering our generation to raise spiritual pro-choice voices.

What is the SYRF Regional Training Institute?

The SYRF Regional Training Institute is an activist and organizing training program that will take place in four cities across the country between October 2007 and March 2008. We will be making stops in DC, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Chicago.

Each training will feature intensive skills sessions preparing participants to galvanize community support for reproductive justice in a faithful context. Trainings will be led by experts in the fields of organizing, religion, and reproductive justice. Session topics include event planning, strategic communications, theology, personal leadership development, and more.

Sex Ed Digital Video Contest

Using digital video technology, tell RH Reality Check what your sex ed experience was like OR tell how you would redesign sex ed for the future! RH Reality Check, in partnership with a dynamic group of progressive organizations, is hosting a digital video contest with awesome prizes ($3500 scholarship or cash, $1000, an iPhone/Nintendo Wii/Nikon camera).
